OP SCEPTRE KNIFE CRIME WEEK OF ACTION

Dear Residents ,

Operation Sceptre Knife Crime week commenced this week on the 17th November 2025 .

The operation which runs for one week will see officers from across GMP engaging and targeting operations,

such as community events, educational events and visits to premises to help reduce knife crime and discourage people from carrying knifes. 

we urge those that know some one who might be carrying a knife themselves.to use one of the forever Amnesty bins located across Greater Manchester.

You can  also report knife crime by reporting 101 or 999 in a emergency.
